Just when you thought you had seen it all, hang around a bit more, 2010 is just getting started. With the health care bill passing both the House and the Senate in late night weekend holiday deadline fashion, the Democrats have figured out how to pass unpopular legislation, do it quickly, and hope nobody is paying attention.
This method of doing business will not change through this new year of 2010, the same tactics will be employed and the one new bill that is an even bigger threat to America as we know it, and may not take as long to pass, is called Universal Voter Registration, a supercharged, steroid driven bill that will supersede individual state laws regarding voter registration.
While the title sounds fairly harmless, and even patriotic, once you understand what this could do the country, you will realize that this is one of the most damaging bills that could be enacted into law, as it threatens the very core of our representative type of government, and that is one person, one vote by legal citizens that are not coerced and are properly registered to vote.
The Wall Street Journal’s John Fund and author of, How the Obama Administration Threatens to Undermine Our Elections, puts it this way:
‘In January, Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank will propose universal voter registration. What is universal voter registration? It means all of the state laws on elections will be overriden by a federal mandate. The feds will tell the states: ’take everyone on every list of welfare that you have, take everyone on every list of unemployed you have, take everyone on every list of property owners, take everyone on every list of driver’s license holders and register them to vote regardless of whether they want to be…’
Most Americans have not heard of this, or like me, just recently did and that’s the way the Dems. want it. So much for transparency and bi partisan involvement. Talk about a bill that will facilitate fraud and corruption, we sure don’t want something like this to come to pass or we just may never get the bums out, and we may be forever stuck with Leftists and Socialists being elected in perpetuity by a corrupt system.
